It's Snowing at the RVA!

Each time we see on television schools closing because of inclement weather, we feel bad for our RVA students because they never get to have a formal day off from school for such reasons.

Because of this, we are inviting our students in grades PreK-8 to take part in our "2019 RVA Snow Day" activities this coming Friday, May 3rd.

Our high school students have "Prom" activities on Friday and it seems like a great day to give everyone a break from the daily rigor of pushing through lessons.

This Friday, your teachers have put together a fun schedule from 9:00 - 11:30 for students who just want to sleep-in, do something fun inside, and take a day off from regular school.

All live classes in middle school will be cancelled on this day.  You will see that each of the 4 Elementary Blackboard rooms will be busy with activities lead by your teachers.  Students are welcome to join in on any of the fun that they want!  Chat with friends, play games, show off talents, and much more!  Teachers will be in each of  the rooms supervising and conducting the activities.  Parents, you are welcome to have your child(ren) take part in none, any, or all of these activities.

So, here's to you and all of your hard work so far this year!  You have each earned and deserve a break and we look forward to you taking a "Snow Day" with us this coming Friday, May 3rd.
